Enhanced transit times to Eastern Europe: CTL cooperates with Waberer’s

We are taking another big step towards internationalization. In cooperation with Waberer’s Network Kft. we are optimizing procurement and delivery transports to and from Hungary. The 100% subsidiary of the Waberer’s Group offers around 75 route connections between the Waberer’s hub in Budapest and 100 European hubs. Our 200 partners can access this large network and benefit from markedly shorter transit times.

Perfect step towards Eastern Europe

The cooperation with the Hungarian market leader brings our partners much closer to the interesting Eastern European market. “The cooperation with Waberer’s Network is the ideal and at the same time most logical step for us as CTL towards Eastern Europe. With the Hungarian market leader in general cargo, we have found the perfect partner on equal footing for our network. The large network enables us to create routes for our partners that they can offer at competitive rates,” emphasizes our CFO Abraham Garcia Martinez.

Looking forward to a successful partnership (from left to right): Francesco De Lauso (CEO at CTL), Judit Magdolna Palicska (Managing Director at Waberer’s Network), Csivánczy Gábor (Business Development Manager at Waberer’s), Tobias Jüngling (Head of Network Development at CTL), and Abraham Garcia Martinez (CFO at CTL)

Shorter transit times

Until now, transports to and from Hungary could be handled in more than 72 hours – thanks to the cooperation with Waberer’s Network, this has been reduced to 48 hours. Daily departures from our central hub in Homberg to Waberer’s central hub in Budapest make this possible. Our partners also benefit from even better connections from and to the Hungary. Waberer’s offers comprehensive and extensive coverage of the entire Hungarian region as well as numerous European hubs for cost-effective and reliable transportation.

Over 75 years of experience

Waberer’s International Nyrt. was founded in 1948 and is the market leader for customized logistics solutions in Hungary and one of the leading logistics specialists in Europe. The company group has 280 trucks and more than 250,000 square meters of warehouse space. Waberer’s specializes in part and full loads, temperature-controlled transport and hazardous goods as well as warehouse logistics solutions. Over its more than 75-year history, Waberer’s has built up industry expertise in the automotive, electronics, fast-moving consumer goods and retail sectors, among others.

Setting a new standard in the service offering

Judit Palicska, Managing Director of Waberer’s Network, says of the collaboration: “As members of CTL, we’re strengthening our commitment to provide faster and more efficient logistics solutions across Germany and beyond,” said Judit Palicska, Managing Director of Waberer’s Network. “This partnership allows us to tap into a highly extensive network, which will benefit our customers through reduced transit times and greater reliability. With daily departures and a full 48-hour transit time, we are excited to set a new standard in our service offerings.”
